Palace On Wheels cancels its trip for the first time

For the first time 34 years, Palace On Wheels, the luxury train has cancelled a trip because of the zero bookings. The train charges Rs2,50,000 for one way trip. Palace On Wheels operating in Rajasthan since 1982, has never cancelled a trip even during the global recession of 2007-2009. The high haulage charges is the main reason why the train had to cancel its bookings
