Microsoft announced that it will bring the GNU projects Bash Shell to Windows 10. Bourne Again Shell has been a standard on OS X and also on the Linux Distribution System. This will help the developers to write their .sh Bash scripts and Linux command-line tools on Windows. Microsoft entered into a collaboration with the creator of Ubuntu Linux, and built a new Linux-like infrastructure called 'Windows Subsystem for Linux' within Windows.
