Its a good news for India. Germany is partnering with India to develop three smart cities in India. A six member committee has been set up for the same. This collaboration between the two countries was decided between the Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and the visiting German Minister of Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety Barbara Hendricks.
The three cities that will be developed are Kerala's Kochi, Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore and Odisha's Bhubaneswar as smart cities.
