Airbus is to set up a pilot training and maintenance center in Delhi to cope up with the recent requirement of the country for 1,600 passenger and freighter aircraft in the next 20 years to 2034. There is also the demand for pilots and maintenance engineers. This training center will be fully controlled by Airbus with training to be delivered by Airbus’ specialized training instructors. The centre will be built in such a way so as to accomodate four A320full-flight simulators, with potential to expand.
