Wireless technology from MIT promises password free Wi-Fi

The researchers at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab are developing the technology to give away with the system of wi-fi password. They have developed a system called Dubbed Chronos which will enable Wi-Fi access points to locate users without external sensors. Hence a password-free Wi-Fi technology can be created. The location of the user is calculated by calculating the time taken by the data to travel from user to the access point.
