According to the reports of the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles, the sale of the electric vehicle in india has risen from 16,000 to 22,000 in the present year. This is a happy increase as it conveys that the commuters are nunderstanding the benefits of using electric cars. However lack of infrastructural facilities like charging stations and difficulties in gettign the credit to purchase the electric vehicle are some of the reasons which is a hindrance to the movement towards green mobility.
