Tata Stel UK has agreed to sell two of its steel plant in Clydebridge and Dalzell to the Scottish government, which will then sell them on to international metals group Liberty House. The company earlier announced that it will stop its European plate production. However later, instead of closing the production completely, the company decided to maintain them to enable plate production to potentially restart in the future
