Sensors developed to diagnose diseases from exhaled air

Ultrasensitive and highly selective gas sensors are being developed by the Professor Il-Doo Kim in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) to diagnose diseases by analyzing the exhaled breath. The researchers report that these sensors can be installed and integrated with various devices like smartphones, electronic wearables and medical devices for monitoring physical conditions.
