The ace pistol shooter bags a gold medal for India at the 2016 ISSF World Cup in Bangkok on Friday. Although the 28-year-old, secured a third position in the qualification round, yet he fired a final tally of 191.3 to finish 4.8 ahead of second placed Wei Pang of China, who won silver.
This is the 5th World Cup medal for India and. It is also a second one in the 50m Pistol event. In 2014, he had won the Silver in the same event at Maribor World Cup and a Gold, Silver and a Bronze in the 10m Air Pistol event at World Cups.
