On the very day of Internation WOmens Day, the Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha announced that India will have its first batch of female fighter pilots on 18th June this year. There are three trainees who have joined the fighter stream an are under going training. Once the training is over, there will be a passing parade whiich will commission the first women officers in the fighter stream.
