By studying the skeletons of two dodo birds the scientists have created a 3D atlas of the skeletal anatomy of the extinct flightless bird dodo. The skeleton of this bird is very large and has a heavy beak as compared to the pigeon. This new atlas features a number of unknown bones of the dodo duck which includes knee caps, ankle and wrist bones.
